Ricky Martin & Nicki Minaj are the spokespeople for MAC's Viva Glam 2012

MAC has announced Ricky Martin & Nicki Minaj will be the new spokespeople for MAC Viva Glam 2012. I have the Pink Friday lipstick, which I love, so I'm excited to see what MAC & Nicki are cookin' up. I'm sure it'll be bold & bright. 

Oh, and the photographer for the ad campaign just happens to be the amazing David LaChapelle! 

All the proceeds from the Viva Glam lipsticks go to the MAC Aids Fund ($224 million has been raised so far!) I always feel good when I purchase the lipstick because I know my money is going to an amazing cause!

Nicki Minaj in the UK

She's been in the UK getting BAMBOOZELED by paparazzi & fans everywhere she goes. 

I'm loving how spontaneous she's being with her wigs & fashion. 

 My least favorite hair.. The green & blue spots aren't working.

 MY FAVORITE. She looks bomb!!

The outfit is hot & the hair made me laugh! LMAO. 

 

Even tho her huge body guard is blocking her (-__-) I really like that planet dress.

Hair Inspirations

*sigh* I'm in a dilemma. Torn between wanting to cut my hair off again or wanting to get some extensions to add to my curls. 

I also LOVE adding color pieces to my hair. I used to put pink & red in when my hair was longer.

 Yesterday, Nicki Minaj was on Ellen. The interview was short and sweet and she performed "Moment 4 Life" Her shoes caught everyone's eye - even Ellen's! She says they were a gift from Weezy!

Nicki Minaj Pink 4 Friday Lipstick Review

Last Friday I was lucky enough to get the lipstick. I had my mom's computer & mine ready at midnight for the lipstick rush. Sure enough, MAC's website slowed down considerably, thanks to all the "barbz & ken barbz". Today, I received my package & took pictures to share with you.

Compared to Viva Glam Gaga.

I love this color! In the tube it looks like a Barbie pink with some purple undertones. My only complaint with this lipstick is only its packaging. I feel like this whole "only for 4 Fridays online only" thing makes it seem a bit rushed. I would've liked for the packaging to feel a bit more "limited edition" rather than a regular MAC lipstick. I'm sure this collaboration with Nicki & MAC was a last minute thing, but I still love the color.

Nicki Minaj's debut album "Pink Friday" was just released in the past week. Along with her limited edition lipstick from MAC given the name "Pink Friday" as well. Not only is this lipstick limited edition, it is also only available for 3 Fridays! (online exclusive - while supplies last - on Fridays only) It was launched this past Black Friday, and sold out quickly! MacCosmetics.com describes the lipstick as "a bright, creamy pink satin formula."
